Asus bringt mit dem 1005PR einen neue Version des 1005PE. Der 1005PR hat eine HD Ready Auflösung mit 1366x768 Pixel. Die restliche Austatttung bleibt gleich mit 1,66 GHz Intel Atom N450 Prozessor mit GMA 3150 Grafik, 1GB RAM und 250 GB Harddisk Auch 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 und ein 6-Zellen-Akku bleiben wie gehabt. Das Asus Eee PC 1005PR Netbook kommt mit einem Broadcom Crystal HD-Video-Beschleuniger auf den Markt, damit auch HD Videos abgespielt werden können.
